A Note from the Author:

There are those who believe without seeing.

And there are those who see;

who perceive realities that others as yet do not.

They have Sight.

Sight is one of the 7 Inner Senses, companion to the Physical Senses,

both of which every sentient free will creature possesses —

the people of your world and the people of ours.

Although both types of senses are freely given to us,

only the Physical Senses so freely function.

The Physical Senses engage automatically in the infant child.

The Inner Senses do not.

The Inner Senses must be developed in order to function.

This, we believe, is one of the great purposes of life:

the development of the 7 Inner Senses.

A flowering of culture and consciousness on the continent Artunne,

whose people were the first to develop their Inner Senses,

which they did with sincerity, determination, sweat and devotion.

Awakening the Inner Senses is not an easy undertaking,

yet it is our birthright to be so Sensed,

and it is the most amazing adventure any person on any world will ever experience.

The Inner Senses, when awakened, are more precious, more valuable,

more satisfying, more enduring than any possession or attainment.

This is the story of my awakening.

I was not born in Artunne, but in Wershonia, where life is more like life on Earth.

Unlike native Artunians — who embrace their awakening early in life with little conflict or trepidation — I embraced mine later in life and with the sole desire to escape a pain and suffering I believed I could not endure.

This is a story, too, of Earth’s future.

We all know this but you:

the power and trajectory of the evolutionary impulse of the universe has Earth firmly in its grasp. There is nothing you can do to thwart your evolution. You can only slow down its inevitability and make it more difficult for yourselves and your children.

We know this too:

love is the greatest and most powerful reality and evolution is its action.

Evolution is happening all around us and there is nothing anyone can do about it but move with it or slow it down.

I dedicate this story to your awakening and to Earth’s evolution.
