Participate in Your Evolution

Participate in your evolution!

You won’t do it perfectly,

So forgive yourself now for your mistakes and failures.

And remember that all roads can lead to God,

if this is your sincere intention.

God will stop at nothing to lead you there.

But God won’t drag or carry you.

You supply the choice,

God supplies the love, the joy, the freedom, and You.

If you truly want to find God in yourself,

then mobilize your life,

orient that which you think and that which you do

to the purpose of knowing God,

who lives in you as you.

When I visit my parents on the holidays, we always go round and round on the Catholic Church. I was raised Catholic and they don’t understand why I have abandoned the church. For years I’ve been militant about my rejection of Catholicism, and they have heard many mean words from me about this. This year, though, I chose to be respectful. I told them calmly that many roads lead to God and I need to find mine. We had a long talk. I told them that I have not rejected God, just the church. The church isn’t my way to God. They heard me without getting mad. We had the first civil conversation about religion in almost ten years. We understand each other now. And all I needed to say was many paths lead to God. They got it. It was beautiful. Thank you for your inspiring words.

  • Tina your parents are wise people, it is better to meditate and pray together with so many other people in a church (I am Eastern Orthodox) than to do it alone home, or on a bench in the park, because those constructive thoughts of all those people about God increase the energy of all those people by far more than praying alone, and anyway I think that praying alone it is kinda selfish and I am not sure if this would be the path of the mankind to head faster to oneness blessing. It is a proof of life that the people who do not go to churches, or do not attend New Age seminaries…care less about God and become atheists. I think that the churches get more and more a New Age approach to be tangent to science, to the latest discoveries, and to validate the bible that was written long, long time ago for those people, and for that society. For instance if the scientists tell us that before the Big Bang it was “no time and space”, then the religion could go beyond that and tell us that our four dimensional Universe is a projection of a hyperspace named Heaven…
